Do you keep all your unread books together, like books in a waiting room? Or are they scattered throughout your shelves, mingling like party-goers waiting for the host to come along?
I do keep all my unread books together. I have my main shelves for the books I've read and then the bottom shelf is devoted to books that I haven't gotten to yet. Both groups are organized alphabetically by author's last name. :) I'm just a teensy bit OCD like that.

Oooh, I've never organized my shelves to that extent. I try to group all of one author's books together, but even that can be tough for me.

ReplyDeleteDude, that's nothing compared to me. Currently, I'm a little out of sorts because we moved and I lost my shelves (they were built into my closet), but I just got a new one and it will be organized as my old ones were. First by size (like you know the difference, not actual size but the two large and smaller sizes of books), then alphabetically by authors name, then, if I have more than one book by an author, first by order within a series, then by copyright date.
